Avril discovered the benefits of strength training over 25 yrs ago and began running in a serious way 20+ years ago. She enjoys mountain and road biking and has participated in endurance races such as marathons, triathlons and duathlons.
Avril has discovered the benefits of stair climbing in a BIG way and will participate in the WWF CN Tower climb for a second time this April. Thanks to the generosity of friends and family she raised over $1000 in 2012 for the World Wildlife Fund and remains committed to helping such a great organization.
She enjoys teaching & practicing Hatha Yoga, Cycle/Yoga and bootcamp classes. Mentors such as Darma Mitra, David Swenson, Baron Baptist and Todd Norian have been inspirational.
Avril has a passion for Vegan cuisine, photography, and learning to play the sitar. Her training and love of photography has enabled the capture of most of the images here, not easy while running! The creation of this website and blog are the result of many hours of experimentation and play.

Sebastian has a passion for running, spinning, cycling, power yoga and
functional fitness training. He enjoys teaching classes as well as working with clients one on one in the gym or in private spaces. He regularly participates in marathons, duathalons, triathalons and Spartan races. A vertical challenge of climbing the CN tower proved to be a great success in 2102 and he will race to the top again in April 2013.
A vegan diet allows him to train hard and achieve his optimal fitness level. In his free time you will find him cycling the hills in the Gatineau on or off road. As a hairstylist with 20+ years experience, Sebastian has a loyal clientele here in Ottawa.
